Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Associate to join our Risk & Compliance team. This role is offered on a flexible working basis, from our Bristol, Manchester or London offices.

Your Role

As a key addition to our existing team, you can expect to be involved in:

  1. Assisting the team in claims handling, including liaising with fee earners, insurers, brokers, panel solicitors and other interested parties
  2. Handling complaints in accordance with the firm's complaint procedures
  3. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding risk-related issues
  4. Assisting our Director of Legal and Commercial Risk with strategic and operational issues
  5. Advising on queries related to SRA StaRs, Principles, Codes of Conduct, Law Society of Scotland, Law Society of Northern Ireland, and Law Society of Ireland, and liaising with regulators as necessary
  6. Reviewing and updating policies as needed
  7. Collaborating with colleagues across our office locations
Your Skills & Experience

We are looking for:

  • A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE, with experience in law firm regulation, solicitors’ PI claims, complaints handling, or commercial contracts
  • A forward thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
  • A team player who contributes to our collaborative culture and is eager to support the development of junior team members
