Job summary
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Lawyer to join the Legal Services team. The role focuses on clinical negligence, inquests, healthcare advice, disclosure requests, and staff training within an in-house NHS setting.

Qualifications
- Law degree or equivalent.
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with current appropriate legal experience.
- Strong evidence of continuing personal and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Negligence Claims management and defence.
- Reporting and data analysis to demonstrate trends.
- Handling Third Party Claims and other court cases.
- Training staff and external stakeholders.
- Inquests support and representation for staff.
- On-call rota participation for urgent Police requests.
- Support to staff and clinical governance initiatives.
- Developing the Legal team's intranet page to improve communications.
