The Group:
Morningstar Indexes provides indexing solutions to measure and benchmark markets and asset classes around the world. It offers a broad suite of global equity, bond, and asset allocation indexes designed to assist investors at every stage of the investment process, including market monitoring, benchmarking, asset allocation, and portfolio construction. Global asset managers utilize Morningstar's strategic beta indexes, based on proprietary research, to develop investment solutions that meet investor goals.

The Role:
The Indexes Client Service & Implementation team seeks an enthusiastic, results-driven Senior Implementation Consultant to enhance our index products in Europe. This role involves client interaction, sales collaboration, and leading index implementation. The successful candidate will become an expert in Morningstar's Index offerings and work closely with sales, product management, technology, and operations teams.

• Manage all aspects of Indexes implementation across functions
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Indexes delivery channels and options globally, providing optimal solutions for clients
• Act as an escalation point for client issues during implementation, troubleshooting and collaborating with technology teams to resolve issues
• Initiate projects to improve client implementation experience and delivery solutions
• Lead qualifying, contracting, and onboarding processes for Morningstar Indexes data clients
• Manage licensing requests for current and potential clients
• Act as Index expert and project manager for internal implementations
• Create and maintain technical specifications for index data products
• Support business development and product management teams for client meetings
• Contribute to global projects aimed at growing the Indexes business

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a client-facing role
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work cross-functionally and globally
• Self-motivated with ownership mindset and multi-tasking ability
• Curious with problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented
• Experience in financial markets or services
• Interest in learning about Indexes and investing

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Morningstar Direct and Data
• Fluency in Spanish, Italian, French, German, or Swedish
• Technical skills such as SQL, Python, AWS
• Progress towards CFA designation
