Job summary

UKRI in Swindon seeks a Lead Monitoring and Evaluation professional to drive a portfolio of monitoring, evaluation and strategic activity, and to design and deliver strategic evaluations of new activities.

You will manage stakeholders across challenge teams and UKRI, develop logic models, and disseminate evidence of impact through syntheses, reports and case studies. BPSS clearance is required; strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional competency and technical skills reflecting expertise in research, monitoring and evaluation.
• Demonstrable understanding of monitoring and evaluation approaches for objectives.
• Strong experience in design and delivery of impact evaluations of complex programmes.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with clear communication of implications.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of monitoring, evaluation and related strategic activity.
• Design and deliver strategic evaluations of new activities.
• Support development of logic models and evidence syntheses.
• Execute evaluation plans and participate in steering groups.
• Manage stakeholders across challenge teams and UKRI.
• Develop evidence on programme impact and disseminate findings.
