Job summary

HCR is seeking an Immigration Partner at Partner level to lead the national immigration practice. You will advise employers and organisations on complex immigration and compliance, support sponsor licence and workforce planning matters, and drive growth across the firm.

You will leverage strong market connections, play a pivotal role in business development, and mentor junior lawyers while shaping strategy for a high‑growth practice within a collaborative firm.

Qualifications

• Significant experience advising businesses on complex UK immigration matters.
• Strong reputation within the market and an established network of contacts or a credible business case for developing one.
• Track record of winning, retaining and growing client relationships.
• Proven track‑record of supporting clients in the tech and manufacturing industries.
• Excellent technical expertise and commercial awareness.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to mentoring and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Be part of leading and shaping our national immigration practice.
• Advise employers, education clients and other organisations on complex immigration and compliance.
• Support clients with sponsor licences, workforce planning, global mobility issues, compliance audits, and Home Office investigations.
• Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing client relationships.
• Build your profile in the market through networking, speaking engagements and thought leadership.
• Mentor and develop lawyers within the wider team.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the practice and wider firm.
