About the Job
The Senior Immigration Compliance Officer (Engagement Monitoring) will support the university’s recruitment activities by providing immigration advice and completing immigration compliance tasks for international applicants and students. The post holder will also lead on collating and analysing attendance data and managing the University’s engagement monitoring activities for Student Route Visa students enrolled at the University of Northampton.

About You
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, a customer service focus, and keen attention to detail. You should have a thorough understanding of the UK’s Immigration Rules, Home Office Guidance related to the Student Route Visa, and experience advising international students on complex immigration matters.
You must also have a detailed knowledge of Home Office Engagement Monitoring requirements and attendance monitoring systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Home Office Sponsor Management System is essential. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, is also required.

The Immigration Compliance Services Team is part of the Global Engagement department, responsible for ensuring compliance with the University’s duties as a Student Route Visa Sponsor and providing support to international students on immigration issues.
