Welford Healthcare in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior HR & Sponsorship Compliance Specialist to oversee HR compliance, UKVI sponsorship requirements and immigration-related risk management. You will lead internal audits, manage complex sponsorship cases and advise senior management on regulatory changes, ensuring sponsor licence obligations are met.

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR & Sponsorship Compliance Specialist to oversee HR compliance, UKVI sponsorship requirements and immigration-related risk management. You will lead internal audits, manage complex sponsorship cases and advise senior management, ensuring the organisation meets its sponsor licence obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee UKVI sponsor licence compliance and Sponsor Management System (SMS) activities.
• Lead internal audits and ensure accurate records and compliance with Home Office requirements.
• Manage complex sponsorship cases, reporting obligations and visa expiry monitoring.
• Identify compliance risks, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Advise senior management and HR teams on sponsorship matters and regulatory changes.
• Prepare for Home Office compliance visits and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Develop policies, procedures and training to strengthen compliance standards.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in HR compliance, immigration sponsorship or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of UKVI sponsor licence duties and right-to-work requirements.
• Experience conducting audits and managing complex compliance issues.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
