Overview

We are looking for a passionate individual to work as a Senior Imaging Systems Administrator within the DHCT Solutions section to help deliver a Dentistry technology change project that interfaces directly with Imaging systems.

Job responsibilities

You need to have previous experience of Imaging Systems (like PACS and VNA), their management and administration, a sound understanding of clinical imaging, and a good background in the digital healthcare technologies required. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience of Digital Dentistry.

This role will deliver direct project work to configure and enable this specific project whilst providing support/management to the overall Imaging systems that DHCT manage on behalf of the Trust. This includes identifying and planning all required configuration and implementation into the Imaging systems, liaising with both the supplier and the Dentistry department's project team, and ensuring that this project is governed to the satisfaction of the DHCT standards to ensure consistency.

If successful, you will be offered this exciting role as a fixed term NHS contract, for the duration of the project (currently 12 months) but with a potential to be annually renewed. You will receive your annual increments in line with Agenda for Change.

This role is full time and arrangements can be made to ensure clinical staff can maintain their professional registration, and the post can be offered as a secondment.

About us

Patients are at the centre of everything we do. The Digital Healthcare Technology (DHCT) department will help to ensure that we continue to get better at delivering services and treatment plans designed around patient needs.

Our vision is to create a digitally enabled organisation that supports the delivery of efficient and effective patient care, achieved through easy-to-use systems that provide staff and patients with access to the right information, in the right place, at the right time.

To help achieve this vision, UCLH has a major project to digitise its Dentistry department. We have let a contract with a supplier for scanning technology to produce imaging that we will store in PACS.
