Job summary

Copello Global is seeking an ILS and Sustainment Engineer to provide technical assurance across asset management, lifecycle support, and sustainment strategies within a complex engineering environment. The role requires evaluating reliability, availability, maintainability, spares and through-life support assumptions.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Science or related discipline.
• Experience in ILS, asset management, sustainment or supportability engineering.
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and service management.
• Experience analysing reliability, availability and maintainability data.
• Strong Excel skills and Power BI reporting/data analysis experience.
• Experience in a project-focused engineering environment.
• Knowledge of obsolescence, supplier risk and whole-life costing.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, or regulated environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent technical assurance across ILS, asset management and sustainment strategies.
• Assess reliability, availability, maintainability, spares, repair and support assumptions.
• Identify obsolescence, supplier and through-life support risks and recommend mitigations.
• Produce technical analysis, confidence assessments and decision-ready reporting.
• Support lifecycle reviews, asset refresh programmes and governance activities.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, projects, supply chain, logistics and service teams.
• Apply data analytics and digital tools to improve sustainment insight and reporting.
