The first assignment for a financial services client will review who can see and change sensitive client information across Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and related systems. This is an associate contract.

Qualifications

• Essential: deliver identity governance or access control work in complex organisations.

• Hands-on analysis of users, groups, roles, permissions and access grants.

• Experience with role mining and RBAC design.
• 3
• Experience designing or operating access reviews and certifications.
• 4
• Experience testing joiner/ leaver controls.
• 5
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and AD.
• 6
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint permissions.
• 7
• Experience reviewing privileged/service/integration access.
• 8
• Ability to write short, evidence-based findings in plain English.

• UK-based and available during UK business hours.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user, group, role, permission and service account exports.
• Reconcile technical access with business need for access.
• Identify stale, direct and conflicting access and record evidence.
• Carry out role mining and draft role and access matrices.
• Test joiner, role change and leaver controls and remove old access.
• Draft findings stating system, affected access, evidence, risk and decisions.
• Support access reviews and certification for informed business decisions.
• Review privileged, service and integration identities.
• Support access testing for Microsoft Entra ID, AD, M365 and SharePoint.
• Maintain findings register and implementation backlog.
• Support pilot testing and ensure changes align with approved design.
