Job summary

Financial Divisions in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Senior IFA Administrator / Junior Paraplanner to work closely with one of the directors as their right-hand person. The role is varied, hands-on and blends adviser support with administration and technical financial planning.

This position suits someone who enjoys owning the process, organising client meetings and carrying out pension and investment research.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IFA or financial planning practice is essential.
• Experience as Senior IFA Administrator or Adviser Support professional.
• Strong understanding of the financial advice process.
• Excellent administration and organisational skills.
• Good technical knowledge of pensions and investments.
• Some experience of paraplanning, technical research or suitability reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident, professional manner with clients and providers.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to get involved.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to one of the directors.
• Manage the adviser’s workload, administration and workflow.
• Organise client meetings, reviews and follow-ups.
• Liaise with clients, providers and third parties.
• Manage new business and applications.
• Support client servicing and ongoing reviews.
• Carry out pension and investment research.
• Prepare suitability reports and planning documentation.
• Maintain accurate, compliant client records.
• Track outstanding tasks and deadlines.
• Take ownership and provide proactive support.
• Assist with ad hoc technical and administrative work.
