Do you have experience working in the domestic abuse field to implement change and ensure best practice? As a Senior IDVA Advisor, you will work closely with the Vulnerabilities Manager to facilitate the transition from one provider to another for the IDVA Service. You will gain experience in contract mobilization and management, challenging partners with the service user’s voice at the center of your work, ensuring optimal outcomes. Your support will be crucial during service transition and delivery, risk mitigation, and safeguarding investigations, potentially managing cases to ensure best practice.
About the role
Richmond and Wandsworth are recommissioning their IDVA Service, and during the transitional phase, you will ensure that service users’ experiences are not impacted. You will hold providers accountable, ensure best practice, and prevent safeguarding issues. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in contract management. You will report to the Vulnerabilities Manager, oversee contract delivery and mobilization, and help establish networks for effective service delivery. When the new provider is in place, you will ensure the service starts effectively, managing cases with high risk or where service user safety may be impacted.
