Job summary

Co-op is reshaping its Digital, Technology and Data function and seeks a Principal Identity and Access Manager in Manchester. You will lead IAM capability, ensuring people have right access at the right time while defending against threats, and mentor IAM professionals to build capability for the future.

You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with architecture, engineering and security teams to design secure identity solutions for new technologies and services, while guiding risk

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing, implementing and leading IAM capabilities.
• Strong expertise in IAM technologies and modern security approaches.
• Track record solving complex identity and security challenges balancing risk with business needs.
• Experience leading technical teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Co-op's IAM capability and security access strategy.
• Embed IAM standards and best practices balancing security and business needs.
• Oversee identity engineering and access control operations for secure services.
• Drive adoption of Zero Trust and modern identity security approaches.
• Partner with architecture, engineering and security teams to design secure IAM solutions.
• Provide oversight for identity and access controls, aiding audit and risk management.
• Tackle complex IAM challenges to enable secure business outcomes at scale.
• Coach and develop IAM professionals to build future talent.
