Job summary

The London Clinic in London is seeking an Intensive Care Fellow to provide day-to-day medical care for critically ill patients on the ICU, working with consultants and senior nursing staff. The role involves evaluating deteriorating patients, supporting emergency calls, and ensuring continuity of care during shifts.

You will review ICU patients at least three times daily, participate in rounds, and contribute to audits and governance.

Qualifications

• Essential: Full GMC registration and MBBS.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
• 12 months ICU experience.
• 6 months anaesthetic experience or proven airway competencies.
• ALS/PILS is desirable.
• Evidence of appraisals and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day medical care for critically ill patients with ICU consultants and senior staff.
• Review ICU patients at least three times daily and attend rounds.
• Lead emergency medical response for deteriorating patients.
• Support safe patient transfers and clinical governance.
