An educational trust in the UK is seeking a dedicated Senior ICT Technician to support its primary schools. The successful candidate will provide IT support, lead projects, and maintain the IT infrastructure as part of a cloud-first strategy. Essential qualifications include a Level 3 IT qualification and strong experience in IT support. This is a full-time position based in Wigan, offering a salary between £28,624 and £31,586.

Your Role
As a Senior ICT Technician, you will:
• Provide on-site and remote IT support to our primary schools.
• Lead and support IT projects at both school and Trust-wide levels.
• Maintain and secure IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are up-to-date and protected.
• Support the Trust’s cloud-first strategy and deliver training to staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust and contribute to long-term IT planning.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
• Level 3 qualification in IT and GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/4+).
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Strong experience in IT support, server management, and network systems.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows OS, and endpoint security.
Desirable:
• Degree in IT-related subject.
• Experience in education settings.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and Apple technologies.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
