Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to lead and deliver UK flood risk projects from Manchester. You will apply hydraulic modelling, hydrology, and GIS using InfoWorks ICM, TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, and ESTRY to provide innovative flood risk solutions.

Responsibilities include mentoring teams, cultivating client relationships, and supporting business development while delivering high-quality outcomes across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 1D-2D modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
• Experience in flood risk analyses for strategy, planning, and design purposes.
• Strong GIS skills and experience with TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, and ESTRY.
• Chartered status or working towards it is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £50,000 – £65,000

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to lead and deliver complex flood risk projects across the UK. You will utilise your expertise in hydraulic modelling, hydrology, and GIS to manage projects involving InfoWorks ICM, TUFLOW, and Flood Modeller. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide innovative solutions for flood risk management.
