Job summary

FBI &TMT in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our R&D team developing mixed-signal and embedded sensing technologies for industrial and consumer electronics. You will influence architecture decisions and contribute to RTL in Verilog/SystemVerilog, while working through the full product lifecycle from concept to production.

The role combines hardware, firmware and software challenges, with hands-on development in C/C++, debugging silicon bring-up, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience developing digital or mixed-signal ICs
• Strong Verilog and SystemVerilog skills
• Embedded software development experience using C/C++
• Good understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems
• Experience with Python, MATLAB or similar engineering tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing advanced mixed-signal and embedded solutions
• Defining digital architectures and contributing to RTL development using Verilog/SystemVerilog
• Developing embedded software in C/C++ for sensing, control and signal processing applications
• Supporting silicon bring-up, debugging and validation activities
• Working across hardware, firmware and system-level engineering challenges
• Collaborating with global engineering teams to develop innovative semiconductor products
• Contributing to technology and product roadmaps
