Qualifications

Job Title: Senior 1 Nuclear Medicine Technologist / Radiographer

Contract: Onsite

Location: Cromwell Hospital, 164-178 Cromwell Road, London SW5 0TU

Permanent/fixed term contract: Permanent

Salary range: £43000 to £51000 per annum (salary dependent on experience and qualifications)

Full time/part time: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, shifts (8-4, 9-5)

Other: £3000 Golden Hello (one off payment for new joiners only)

We are looking to appoint a HCPC Registered Senior 1 Nuclear Medicine Technologist with proven substantial post grad experience to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. We are an internationally recognised hospital located in the heart of Kensington, London, and receive both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare for patients.

About The Cromwell Hospital

The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing outpatient and inpatient services. The hospital has 114 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostics, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit.

The radiography services we provide at the Cromwell Hospital include Nuclear Medicine, MRI, CT, general/x-ray, and Mammography. We also partner with Genesis Care who are onsite.

The department is ISO 9001:2015 accredited, and we provide a range of nuclear medicine examinations for many types of cancers, heart disease, gastro, endocrine, and neuro disorders.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

You’ll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team performing all types of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures, showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients, ensuring that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered.

You’ll be flexible, an effective communicator with excellent organisation and attention to detail, and able to work collaboratively with other modalities in radiography. You will be able to perform IV cannulation and administer radioactive injections and other licensed products confidently, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our staff and patients.

It is essential that you have confidently used Sectra PACs. You’ll be familiar with Siemens and GE scanners with experience as a radiation protection supervisor. Experience working with paediatrics is also required.

The service is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • HCPC Registration (essential)
  • B.Sc. Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of Radionuclide Imaging or equivalent (essential)
  • Substantial, post-graduate experience in a relevant post (essential)
  • Postgraduate studies in Radionuclide Imaging (desirable)
  • Experience with paediatric cases (essential)
  • Experience with Sectra PACs (essential)
