Job summary

Evantis Consulting seeks a senior infrastructure engineer to design and operate enterprise-scale Hyper‑V infrastructure across global data centers. You will own the virtualization platform layer, collaborate with hardware and software teams, and drive automation and governance for secure, scalable workloads.

Required deep Hyper‑V expertise, Windows Server administration, and power-user scripting in PowerShell to automate lifecycle management and deployment tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience including virtualization, storage, networking, and Windows Server administration.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Hyper-V at enterprise scale with clustering, live migration, and Storage Spaces Direct.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and infrastructure orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Hyper-V cluster architectures across global data centers.
• Evaluate hardware BOMs for Hyper-V performance and coordinate with hardware engineering.
• Audit performance of full stack virtualization and maintain architecture artifacts.
• Develop reference architectures and best practices for deployment and workload placement.
• Develop and maintain automation for lifecycle management of Hyper-V workloads using PowerShell and .NET platform.
