Senior Hygiene Team Leader
£31,657 per annum
Monday - Friday / 2pm-10pm

Our client based in the Deeside area is currently looking to recruit a Senior Hygiene Team Leader. Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, you will ensure that the production environment meets high standards of cleanliness and safety by leading and motivating a hygiene team to carry out cleaning tasks and hygiene processes.

Performance Objectives
  • Ensure all operations meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Dispose of waste in a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Promote a safe working environment and reduce risk to employees and visitors.
  • Verify cleanliness and readiness of equipment through unannounced inspections.
  • Ensure that all clean equipment is clearly labelled to prevent contamination or misuse.
  • Ensure tasks are completed according to defined procedures.
  • Verify surface cleanliness using ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) swabbing.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and timely to support traceability, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Confirm all scheduled activities are completed and acknowledged.
  • Confirm that cleaning chemicals meet the correct concentrations during use.
  • Ensure all personnel are adequately trained and training records are up to date.
  • Promote a cooperative and communicative working environment.
  • Assist with cross-functional tasks that benefit the overall operation of the site.
