VANRATH is assisting a reputable FMCG (Food) company with the recruitment of a Hygiene Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

The role is based at the company's site in Strabane and is a permanent position.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, Afternoon Start Time

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Hygiene team on site, ensuring proper training and compliance with hygiene policies and legislation.
• Ensure employee and product safety at all times.
• Coordinate hygiene activities via Team Leaders to meet standards, maintain safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Motivate and develop team members, fostering effective communication.
• Take personal accountability for health and safety, training, employee relations, and issue resolution.
• Set and monitor targets, KPIs, and minimize waste.
• Manage shift budgets, reduce costs, and promote cost-saving ideas.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide efficient service to the Operations Manager and team.

Skills:

• Experience in a similar role
• Understanding of BRC standards
• Knowledge of GMP
• Good communication skills in English
• Strong numeracy skills
• Flexibility
