Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Hydrology Service Lead for the UK Sustainable Water Management Consulting business. This role leads the Hydrology Service, directing pipeline growth, revenue delivery and external profile.

You will provide authoritative technical leadership, drive innovation, and ensure high quality delivery across flood risk, water resources and major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Recognised specialist in hydrology with UK policy experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of winning work.
• Leadership skills to grow and inspire a high performing team.
• Chartership with a relevant professional body, or a commitment to achieve this soon.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth and strategic development of WSP’s Hydrology Service across the UK.
• Provide senior technical leadership in hydrology.
• Set direction on technical excellence, training and external profile, in collaboration with technical leads.
• Act as an independent technical reviewer and provide QA for complex hydrological assessments.
• Oversee client and public facing deliverables with clear communication of complex data.
• Support and lead high value bids and proposals; shape innovative client solutions.
• Manage projects from commercial, financial and delivery perspectives.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with Sustainable Water Management leadership and global teams.
• Promote a strong safety first culture in line with WSP policies.
