Job summary
SLR CONSULTING is seeking an experienced Hydrogeologist or Environmental Scientist to join the Hydrology & Hydrogeology team, delivering high-profile water environment projects across the UK. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London or Stoke, the role focuses on EIA water chapters, hydrogeological investigations and licensing, with opportunities for international exposure.
You'll lead projects, mentor staff, manage clients, and collaborate across disciplines to produce
Qualifications
- Substantial experience delivering UK water environment or hydrogeology projects, including EIA.
- A degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geoscience or related field.
- Experience with water monitoring, abstraction licensing or similar technical work.
- Knowledge of UK water-related legislation and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of water environment and hydrogeology projects from planning to reporting.
- Manage clients and proposals, build relationships and repeat work.
- Mentor and coach less experienced scientists and hydrogeologists.
- Conduct desk-based analysis and reporting; perform site visits across the UK.
