Position Overview:

The HVAC Senior Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support. This role plays a crucial part in delivering the highest standards of service efficiently to maintain customer plant and equipment as installed on site, covered by our maintenance and service contract. The goal is to maximize technician productivity, enhance the customer experience, and improve operational processes while coaching and supporting the regional team.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer and Technical:
  • Diagnose system problems when servicing products and equipment during assigned projects and customer site visits.
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), respond to customer breakdowns, warranty work, hire, and commissioning workloads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted contact.
  • Collaborate with Service desk, Sales, and Operations teams to share key customer insights.
  • Use cutting-edge software, diagnostic tools, and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
  • Generate reports on completed work orders.
  • Foster strong customer relationships through excellent service.
  • Communicate updates and drive continuous improvement with supervisors, service managers, senior technicians, and customers.
Internal Controls and Administration:
  • Proven experience in a service or field technician role.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Apps, diagnostic software, and MS Office Suite.
Skills and Capabilities:
  • People skills and a positive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Appropriate skilled-based certificates with F-Gas.
  • Availability to cover standby and call outs, including weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • UK Driver's license, as a company vehicle will be provided.
  • Right to Work confirmed for the country of application.
