Job summary

Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in Norwich is seeking a Service Engineer (HVAC, Air Conditioning) to diagnose, fault-find and fix problems on a range of industrial and commercial sites. You will join a team with strong employer training and career development through a City & Guilds accredited centre.

The role offers a generous basic wage with paid travel time, overtime and standby rates, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a 40-hour week with overtime.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience as a senior mobile air conditioning and refrigeration service engineer.
• Refrigeration experience and knowledge is essential.
• Experience with commercial and industrial refrigeration and catering equipment.
• You need to hold Refrigerant handling C&G2079 or equivalent and a full UK driving Licence.
• An industry-specific training qualification, at NVQ2 level, would be an added advantage.
• Located within commutable distance of the Norwich branch.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, fault-finding, and fixing problems for client sites.
• Work on predominantly air conditioning with some refrigeration on varying scales.
• Operate with a high spec van and tablet to receive jobs and complete service sheets.
