Laing O'Rourke is recruiting an Utilities Project Manager to lead the Letchmore Heath 400kV Substation project in Watford. You will coordinate utility diversions, new connections and associated works, reporting to the Project Leader and ensuring safety, compliance and delivery to programme and budget.

You will work with National Grid, designers, subcontractors and authorities, taking charge of planning, design through construction, commissioning and handover, with travel to project offices as

Competenze

• Degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management or related discipline.
• Experience delivering National Grid, transmission or major utilities projects.
• Experience managing substation or high‑voltage infrastructure projects.
• APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or PMP qualifications are desirable.

Mansioni

• Lead delivery of National Grid utility infrastructure works from planning through commissioning.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams, manage programme, cost control and safety compliance.
• Coordinate interfaces with designers, subcontractors and statutory bodies.
• Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.
