Zusammenfassung

The Jonathan Lee Group is seeking a High Voltage Engineer / HV Authorised Person (AP) for our Ellesmere Port power systems. You will own critical HV/LV electrical infrastructure, oversee HV switching, isolation, and compliance to daily operations.

This permanent role offers opportunity to lead electrical upgrades, liaise with DNOs and contractors, and support a 24/7 manufacturing environment as the business expands.

Qualifikationen

• HNC, HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Current HV Authorised Person (AP) or Senior Authorised Person (SAP) status, or capable to be appointed quickly.
• Experience with industrial HV/LV distribution systems 11kV or above.
• Strong knowledge of HV switchgear, transformers and electrical distribution infra.
• Solid understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671.
• Experience with switching, isolation and permit systems in safety procedures.

Aufgaben

• Act as HV AP or SAP with responsibility for HV switching and isolation procedures.
• Operate, inspect and maintain HV and LV distribution systems including switchgear and transformers.
• Support reliability and availability of critical electrical infrastructure.
• Plan upgrades, infra improvements and new connections as site expands.
• Liaise with DNOs, contractors and electrical engineering providers.
