Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced High Voltage Commissioning Engineer/SAP to support major grid connection, substation, renewable energy, and electrical infrastructure projects across the UK. The role covers projects from Birmingham to South Wales, with a base salary of £72,500 plus door-to-door travel pay, overtime, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience commissioning HV electrical systems.
• Experience on 11kV–132kV infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HV safety procedures and switching operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute HV commissioning activities from 11kV to 132kV.
• Perform testing, energisation, fault finding and handover activities.
• Produce commissioning documentation and switching schedules.
• Liaise with clients, DNOs/IDNOs and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company procedures.
