A leading company in the HR sector is seeking a Senior HR Advisor for maternity cover in Sleaford. In this role, you’ll support managers with employee relations, promote HR best practices, and lead learning and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of employment law and be CIPD qualified. Flexible hybrid working options available.
On a fixed-term maternity cover basis, we are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to work alongside the HR Manager and the rest of the HR team in providing comprehensive and professional HR advice and business partnering support to line managers.
In this role, you’ll lead on supporting managers with employee relations issues, promote compliance with employment legislation and support in the delivery of best practice people management across the business.
We have recently launched a brand new HRIS and have outsourced payroll management to a third party, so supporting managers and employees with using new systems and ways of working will also be a key focus.
In the team, you’ll be the nominal lead for learning and development activities and initiatives, so experience and an interest in L&D would be an advantage.
As well as supporting line managers and the rest of the HR Team in areas such as absence management; policies; recruitment and other HR administration, you’ll also have your own HR projects to manage that contribute to the ongoing delivery of a first-class HR service to the whole business.

In order to perform well in the role, we would expect you to have;
Ideally, a candidate that is part or fully CIPD qualified would be advantageous
This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
