Job Summary

The HR Operations team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) provides an HR advisory service to line managers across a full spectrum of HR and employment matters across the hospital.

Our vision is 'the best care for every patient', and none of what we do would be possible without the skills, talent, care, and compassion of well over 10,000 who make up 'Team NNUH', and who deserve the very best experience as colleagues working at one of the biggest employers in the county.

We are proud to provide an HR service that supports staff to deliver exemplary care for every patient. If this inspires you and you share our values, we really want you to join our team.

If you are an experienced and confident HR Professional with significant experience in managing complex HR and Employee Relations cases (across misconduct, grievance, capability, and change management), and you're seeking a part-time role in a dedicated and friendly team, then this is likely to be an appealing and exciting opportunity for you!

Main duties of the job

Within the HR Operations team, we work hard to deliver an outstanding service to NNUH's managers. We need a confident and experienced professional who can bring their wealth of experience to further enhance an already high-performing team of Senior HR Advisors.

The role involves providing HR advice to line managers on a wide range of matters through the application of Trust policies, interpretation of UK employment law, and best practices across all levels of staff.

You will be highly professional and a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You must be able to demonstrate positive outcomes of managing complex and sensitive casework, and working independently to autonomously manage your workload. Experience of change management including restructures and redundancy will be essential too.

You will play a key role in championing the NNUH People Promise and our PRIDE values.

The Trust will consider all applications; however, this role does not meet the salary requirements for sponsorship.

Whilst this role can be worked hybrid, applicants must be available to attend site at short notice (sometimes within the same working day). Please only apply if you are able to attend site in Norwich or across Norfolk at short notice.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 06 May 2025.
