Job Opportunity: Senior HR Advisor (Temporary 3-6 months)

Location: Belfast

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Rate: £18.50 per hour

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a dedicated professional HR team on a temporary basis for 3 to 6 months. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide proactive, business-focused HR support within a well-established organisation committed to best practice people management and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, confidential HR advice and support to managers and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, data protection (GDPR), and internal HR policies.
  • Lead or assist with workplace investigations and support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes, including preparing job details, supporting interview panels, conducting shortlisting, and completing pre-employment checks.
  • Support preparation of statutory returns such as Fair Employment and Annual Employment Statistics.
  • Maintain professional standards aligned with organisational values and ethics.
  • Undertake other HR-related duties as required by senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ generalist HR experience, including employment relations (grievance, discipline, attendance management).
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
  • Knowledge of Northern Ireland employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with Article 55 Review and Fair Employment Returns.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car or ability to meet mobility requirements.
