Senior Human Factors Consultant

Salary range: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits + Flexible working.

Location: Bristol, Gloucester, Leatherhead, Manchester OR Glasgow

Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern that can be tailored to fit your preferences.

Note: Due to the nature of the work undertaken, UK Citizenship is required for this position.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Human Factors Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of Human Factors Engineers/Consultants and Behavioral Scientists, with experience across sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Energy, Aerospace, Government, and Rail.

The role involves developing Human Factors strategies for complex projects, providing technical coordination and management, and mentoring junior team members. You will oversee Human Factors work across various projects and may undertake research into Human Factors topics for clients.

Essential skills include:

• Developing and implementing Human Factors strategies for safety-critical projects.
• Deep knowledge of human factors and experience in Human Factors Integration activities.
• Project management from both technical and commercial perspectives.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Authoring and reviewing technical deliverables.
• Supporting business development and proposal preparation.
• Experience with formal Human Factors analyses in engineering contexts.
• Strong client relationship skills.
• Contributing to team strategy and vision.
