Job summary

Network Plus seeks a seasoned HSEQ Manager - Power to lead health, safety, environment and quality across power contracts. You will embed HSEQ systems, advise on high-risk electrical operations and drive governance, assurance and continuous improvement.

You will interact with clients and operations to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements and lead investigations into significant incidents, promoting a safe, sustainable and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• HSE legislation knowledge and application.
• CDM Regulations understanding and implementation.
• Experience with overhead lines operations and safety controls.
• Root cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.
• Experience of level 1 assurance programmes and audits.
• Willingness to travel with full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior HSEQ leadership to the contract leadership and client.
• Lead the HSEQ strategy to drive operational excellence on the contract.
• Develop governance, monitoring and assurance programmes for HSEQ performance.
• Analyse data to identify risks and implement early interventions.
• Ensure HSEQ objectives and KPIs are clearly overseen by leadership.
• Identify and manage HSEQ risks in overhead line projects.
• Align HSEQ systems with corporate standards and client expectations.
• Deliver comprehensive HSEQ plans defining obligations and measures.
• Lead investigations into high-potential incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure incident management and reporting processes are effective.
• Coach and develop a team of HSEQ Advisors and build capability.
• Define competency and training needs across the contract.
• Foster relationships with clients, regulators and stakeholders.
• Contribute to client performance reviews and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with other HSEQ leads to share best practices.
