SHEQ Manager

£40,000 per year

We're working with a well-established furniture manufacturer in Leeds that is looking to hire an experienced and motivated SHEQ Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step up into a leadership role and make a real impact on safety, quality, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
• Maintain ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) standards
• Drive continuous improvement across production and operations
• Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and industry standards
• Deliver SHEQ training and promote a safety-first culture
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and regulators
• Report on SHEQ performance and KPIs to senior leadership

What We're Looking For:

• IOSH or NEBOSH certification (required)
• Experience in a SHEQ role within manufacturing (furniture experience is a bonus)
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and HSE regulations
• Confident communicator with good leadership and organisational skills
• Hands-on experience with audits, inspections, and improvement projects
