Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Senior HSE Specialist for a major Carbon Capture new-build project in Mold, North Wales. The role focuses on delivering timely HSE guidance across the construction phase, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and client requirements while actively reducing HSE risk.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Membership of IOSH or an equivalent professional body.
• Safety Critical Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test are required.
• Experience in a full-time HSE role on heavy construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the HSE Management System within your area.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and intervene when needed.
• Identify emerging HSE trends and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and UK HSE legislation.
• Engage with the workforce to identify safety concerns and resolve them.
• Lead or support HSE incident investigations and close-out actions.
• Deliver HSE campaigns and inductions within your area of responsibility.
• Coordinate Permit to Work / Control of Work activities.
• Maintain environmental aspects per the Construction Environmental Management Plan.
