Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to support the Abingdon, UK facility.

You will partner with site leadership and the Global HSE team to drive compliance and continuous improvement in a complex manufacturing and laboratory environment. The role requires hands-on HSE expertise, leading audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and training while ensuring regulatory adherence and a proactive safety culture across manufacturing, labs, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field; 5+ years in EHS.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Chartered status (CMIOSH) or working toward chartership.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead site HSE programs and audits; drive continual improvements.
Ensure UK environmental and occupational health and safety law compliance (HSE Act 1974, COSHH, DSEAR, PUWER, EPR, Fire Safety).
Oversee hazardous materials, waste and toxic gas safety programs; manage risk controls.
Deliver regulatory-required and role-based HSE training, promote proactive safety culture.
Lead MOC for equipment/process changes; coordinate emergency response readiness.
