The full-time starting salary is normally £44,131.00 per annum, with progression available in post to £51,182.00 per annum. This role also carries a 5% market supplement.

Our HR Department is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Senior HR Systems Analyst. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the management, maintenance, and optimisation of key HR systems, including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and Learning and Development modules.

Reporting to the HR Systems and Reporting Manager, you will support the Human Resources team and the wider University community, as well as contribute to project-based activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing ongoing support to HR and Payroll teams, ensuring system configurations meet operational needs.
  2. Maintaining and developing system structures and reporting hierarchies.
  3. Raising Change Requests for the Change Advisory Board and conducting testing to validate changes.
  4. Submitting support requests to external support desks and monitoring cases until resolution.
  5. Leading data quality initiatives, including mass data loads and impact assessments.
  6. Managing quarterly system upgrade releases.
  7. Engaging with stakeholders to identify development opportunities.
  8. Exploring new functionalities with the Systems Manager to support continuous improvement.

Candidates should have a degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience, with prior experience in maintaining or configuring Oracle Fusion HCM. Effective communication skills, knowledge of HR data collection strategies, and the ability to learn quickly are essential. The ideal candidate will be organized, collaborative, and proactive in problem-solving.
