Senior HR Manager
Transportation & Logistics

On-Site (Tilbury, Thurrock area)
£45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Are you a hands-on HR leader who thrives in fast-paced, operational environments? We are working with a leading name in the transportation and logistics sector to find a Senior HR Manager ready to shape and deliver people strategy while staying closely connected to day-to-day operations.

This is a fully on-site position at their busy office, ideal for someone who enjoys being in the thick of the action, building strong relationships, and making a tangible impact on the business and its people.

What you will be doing:

Working closely with the COO and Head of HR, you will lead a small, capable HR team and take ownership of all things people-related. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading recruitment, onboarding, and long-term talent planning
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on employee relations and workplace matters
  • Driving performance management and employee development
  • Updating HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment law
  • Overseeing Health & Safety initiatives and audit support
  • Managing HR administration and reporting with a focus on improving processes

What we are looking for:

  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience at a senior level)
  • Proven HR leadership experience in a fast-paced SME setting
  • Confident balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience with Sage 50 Payroll is a plus
