Job summary

ReQuire Consultancy is seeking a Head of Human Resources in Salisbury to lead the people agenda and influence executive-level decisions. The role offers 28 hours per week with 50% remote work and on-site flexibility, reporting to the COO, and managing a part-time HR Officer.

You'll shape culture, advise senior leaders and drive policy development, recruitment, and employee relations within a values-led organisation that values balance and trust.

Qualifications

• Chartered CIPD membership is essential; must be Chartered MCIPD or Chartered FCIPD.
• Broad generalist HR experience at managerial level.
• Strong and current UK employment law knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a trusted HR adviser to the Executive Team and managers.
• Providing practical advice across employee relations and employment law.
• Supporting complex and sensitive people matters.
• Developing and maintaining HR policies, processes and good practice.
• Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, contracts and induction.
• Supporting performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Developing learning, training and staff development.
• Supporting workforce planning and organisational resilience.
• Contributing to reward, remuneration and job evaluation.
• Monitoring HR information including turnover, absence and appraisals.
• Safeguarding practices and safer recruitment where applicable.
• Managing and developing the part-time HR Officer.
• Ensuring HR practices remain compliant and fit for purpose.
