Job summary

Belfast-based Broadgate is hiring a Senior HR Consultant to join our people consultancy team on a full-time or part-time basis (min 4 days per week). The role requires solid experience in HR and employee relations, with a view to operating at a strategic level.

You'll work with a portfolio of clients, providing practical, commercially-focused advice, building strong relationships, and supporting HR policy implementation across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of applied HR and employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
• CIPD qualification or actively working towards one.
• Excellent communication and client advisory skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially-focused HR guidance to client organisations.
• Review and optimise clients' HR setup, processes and tools.
• Advise management teams on policy application and HR best practices.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and management of new starters.
• Help clients build inclusive, values-led cultures and strong teams.
• Mentor junior team members and respond to HR queries with guidance.
