Lyra is recruiting a Senior HR Business Partner to support Lyra International. Reporting to the Group People Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth and change, serving as a role model for expected behaviours and attitudes.
This role is fully remote and based in the UK, supporting several international regions including UK, MENA, Canada, and Spain.
Key Responsibilities
  • Be the point of contact for all integration activities, working with the People Team to disseminate information, ensure due diligence, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support integrations by building trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive HR projects.
  • Assist in implementing the People strategy through various initiatives, with support from the management team.
  • Develop policies, procedures, terms of employment, and manage activities like recruitment, retention, performance management, employee relations, rewards, learning and development, health and welfare, and compliance.
  • Handle disputes, discipline, performance, and grievances promptly, in line with company values and local regulations, with support from the Employee Relations team.
  • Lead talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching to nurture high performers.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across all organizational levels, supporting communication of sensitive information.
  • Provide accurate payroll information and ensure data security, maintaining Workday as the primary data source.
  • Maintain HR documentation, ensure onboarding compliance, and support HR reporting needs.
  • Manage employee benefits administration and collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure competitive offerings.
  • Lead or support HR projects and events aligned with the People Strategy.
  • Support the Global People Manager in maintaining HR policies and strategies.
  • Facilitate change management and organizational development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation across countries, consulting with legal counsel as needed.
  • Maintain visa sponsorship processes and employee training records.
  • Support strategic workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure qualifications and certifications are up-to-date in Workday.
Experience
  • Postgraduate, Master’s, or MBA in Human Resources is desirable.
  • Degree in Business Management or HR-related field is mandatory.
  • CIPD Level 5-7 completed.
  • At least 5 years in a senior HR role within a complex organization, or 10-12 years in HR overall.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Google Workspace.
  • Practical knowledge of EU employment law, particularly UK regulations.
  • Experience with HR systems like Workday, Sage, and Deel is advantageous.
  • Fluency in additional languages such as German, French, Italian, Dutch, Hungarian, or Spanish is desirable.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills in dynamic environments.
