Senior HR Business Partner - Support Centre

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner to join cardfactory. This role involves partnering with members of the Executive and Senior Leadership teams in Finance, Property, Business Development, and Digital. The focus is on defining and developing strategic people plans to enhance employee and organisational effectiveness, championing the people agenda, and fostering a culture of exceptional leadership.

The successful candidate will build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, embedding themselves through expertise, insight, and collaboration. If you are an experienced Senior HRBP with a background in international business, we encourage you to apply.

We operate smart working principles at cardfactory, combining some days at our Wakefield support centre (minimum 2 days a week) with days working from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Exec and leadership teams to design and implement people plans supporting business goals and performance.
  • Deliver a strategic Business Partner approach through collaboration, support, and challenge to leadership teams.
  • Embed talent management initiatives, including succession planning and performance management, fostering a culture of robust conversations around objectives and performance.
  • Assist leadership in navigating international expansion from a people perspective, applying OD expertise and thought leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to align HR practices across markets, collaborating with the broader HR team to define aligned plans.
  • Provide expertise in organisational design to ensure scalable, sustainable structures aligned with the enterprise target operating model.
  • Support and lead change management initiatives, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the wider People function to build scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous international HR Business Partnering experience, supporting international teams or working outside the UK.
  • Significant experience in business partnering at Director/Exec Board level in a corporate environment, ideally retail.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across HR functions to create effective solutions.
  • Mergers and acquisitions experience is desirable.
  • Experience working at pace, managing multiple priorities and ambiguity.
  • Commitment to personal development and career progression.
  • Coaching qualification or working towards it is desirable.
