Qualifications

• CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a generalist HR role within a complex, multi-stakeholder organisation.
• Experience of working in a business partnering model.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and handling complex employee relations.
• Experience coaching line managers and supporting organisational change.
• Confidence using HR systems and data to inform decisions.
• Ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
• Mediation or conflict resolution qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex employee relations matters with pragmatic, evidence-based advice.
• Coach managers to handle people issues themselves rather than relying on P&C.
• Support workforce planning, organisational change, and job evaluation/salary benchmarking.
• Use HR systems and data to inform decisions and contribute to reports for College committees.
• Mentor and support the development of the P&C Advisor and Assistant.
• Help embed wellbeing, inclusion and the College values in daily practice.
