A local council in Croydon seeks a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR change management as part of their transformation programme. You will oversee a dedicated team, ensuring effective support for the HR activities tied to the Target Operating Model changes, while guiding and influencing stakeholders throughout the process.
Are you looking for a new opportunity to use your skills within HR and change management in a new approach?
We are looking for a small team to work alongside our wider HR and OD team with a specific focus on supporting the HR and change management related activities for the organisation wide Target Operating Model changes.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues delivering the transformation programme across the council, providing clear advice, guidance, direction and delivery of HR related activities connected to the workforce elements of the programmes. You will need to be able to work at pace, in a changing landscape, ensuring HR processes are carried out in accordance with internal policies and procedures and best practice. Ensuring managers and staff are supported on the change journey to ensure benefits are realised.
The following roles are offered as fixed term contracts for 12 months.
Senior Human Resources Business Partner
£64,317 - £66,651 (Grade 17)
You will be responsible for leading a small team of business partners and advisors on the strategic and operational delivery of HR related change activities as part of the transformation programme. You will play a critical role in resource planning and allocation, working closely with Trade Union colleagues and stakeholders, to ensure effective delivery of the milestones and business requirements. In addition, you will need to ensure reporting processes are in place to capture and manage the large scale change programmes and providing regular updates for programme group meetings.
You will be supported by wider HR colleagues across the team, but we require you to have extensive change management experience, influencing and leading a team working across a large savings programme
