DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an exceptionally talented, bright, and driven individual to join our Human Resources team as a Senior HR Business Partner. The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as an advisor to Senior Operations leaders, leveraging their strong HR experience and expertise. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing business strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. As a natural culture steward, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed Amazon's unique culture into the employee experience. Additionally, you will establish standard processes and policies, facilitate change management, and drive innovation and continuous improvement as a key member of the Senior Regional HR leadership team.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Manage time effectively to oversee a small cluster of Amazon Logistics sites geographically spread across the South West of England, partnering with the Senior Operations leader.
  2. Drive associate engagement programs, act as the Employee Relations Subject Matter Expert, and monitor feedback to enhance employee relations, retention, and reward initiatives.
  3. Manage labor relations and complex cases with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring legislative compliance and integration into HR policies and practices.
  4. Create people-centric plans aligned with business demands, understanding how talent fits into the overall strategy and fostering talent development.
  5. Coordinate with management to recruit middle and senior management, and oversee onboarding, training, and development initiatives.
  6. Facilitate talent review processes and succession planning in partnership with management.
  7. Utilize data insights to improve processes, employee engagement, and policy alignment.
  8. Lead and manage complex HR projects and change initiatives, including the implementation of new tools and technologies to support stakeholders better.
  9. Manage and mentor a small team, becoming a subject matter expert in your business line.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor's degree in an HR-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of current HR practices, trends, and tools.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and HR Information Systems.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong influencing skills.
