Job summary

Morson Group is hiring a Senior/Lead HR Business Partner to partner with the leadership team across a multinational operation. The role is UK-wide with hybrid working and an inside IR35 daily rate of £800 via umbrella.

You will lead an HR team of eight, shape the people strategy, oversee workforce planning, organisation design and change initiatives, and drive a positive employee experience across sites and markets.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years’ progressive HR experience in a multinational organisation.
• Strategic HR Business Partner with regional/global scope.
• Experience with works councils, trade unions, and collective bargaining.
• Proven change and organisational development leadership.
• Experience across multiple countries in a complex matrix.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to Leadership Team and single point of contact.

Senior / Lead HR Business Partner
Location: UK wide - Flexible location. Hybrid working.
Salary: £800 per day +. Inside IR35. Via Umbrella.

Length of Contract: ASAP start - with a view to go perm March 2027.

The opportunity

I’m working with a global, multinational business on a Senior / Lead HR Business Partner role. You’ll be the main HR contact for the leadership team and will shape the people strategy across a large operational workforce in several countries.

This is a hands on strategic role. You’ll lead a team of 8, work closely with Centres of Excellence and HR Shared Services, and have real influence on culture, organisation design and performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Acting as trusted advisor and single point of contact for the Leadership Team.
• Leading workforce planning and organisation design to build the capabilities the business needs now and in future.
• Building a strong HR presence across the sites, so frontline colleagues have a positive and engaging employee experience.
• Leading relationships with works councils and trade unions, including annual pay negotiations and collective bargaining.
• Driving organisational change, restructuring and people projects from start to finish.
• Making talent management and succession planning part of how the business works.
• Adapting global HR initiatives for local markets.
• Leading and developing a team of HR professionals.

What we’re looking for

• 8-10+ years’ progressive HR experience in a multinational organisation.
• A track record as a strategic HR Business Partner supporting a regional or global business.
• Hands on experience with works councils, trade unions and collective bargaining.
• A record of leading change, including organisational development and restructuring.
• Experience working across countries in a complex matrix environment.
• People leadership experience.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
