Senior HR Business Partner - Corporate Functions

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in financial services? Are you adept at navigating complex employee relations cases, driving operational HR strategies, and influencing senior leadership in a matrix environment? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role

On behalf of my client, a leading financial services house, I am recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner to support corporate functions across multiple regions. This is a high-impact, operationally focused HRBP role that will partner with leaders across corporate functions. The position requires a confident HR professional who can effectively manage employee relations, compensation processes, and collaborate with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders providing expert HR guidance on people management, employment law, and best practices.
  • Oversee complex employee relations (ER) cases, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and drive cyclical HR processes, including performance management, talent identification, and succession planning.
  • Work closely with CoEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation & Benefits, HR Ops) to design and implement HR strategies.
  • Contribute to organisational design efforts to align structures with business objectives.
  • Foster a strong working relationship with leadership teams, providing day-to-day HR support and strategic input.
  • Navigate an evolving HR landscape, driving engagement and managing change within a dynamic environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5-10 years of HRBP experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Expertise: Strong tactical and operational HR capabilities, particularly in ER case management and compensation.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in an evolving and complex business structure, with experience in corporate functions (not just front office roles).
  • Influence: Proven ability to work with senior leadership, build trust, and drive HR initiatives effectively.
  • Global Perspective: International experience is beneficial but not essential.

Why Join?

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in an organisation undergoing transformation. You'll work in a dynamic and evolving HR structure, gain exposure to senior leadership, and contribute to shaping people strategies across corporate functions.
