We are hiring: Senior HR Business Partner

We are working in partnership with a local authority in the Hackney area, seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to work within the Education / Schools Department.

Contract: Initially 4-6 months, with potential for a permanent role.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

Location: E8. (Hybrid working available)

Pay Rate: Starting from £32+ per hour (Negotiable based on experience).

About The Role:

1. Responsible for delivering the business objectives of your designated service(s) within Hackney Education Department and Schools, contributing to the Mayor’s priorities and Council’s corporate objectives.
2. Provide effective management that promotes continuous improvement within Hackney Education Department, including schools.
3. Partner with key decision-makers within Hackney Education Department and schools, offering high-quality advice and support to ensure effective people management and enhance organisational change standards.
4. Contribute to Council-wide and Hackney Education initiatives aligned with the Mayor’s priorities and corporate objectives, focusing on Education Services.
5. Monitor and evaluate HR policies, recommend changes, and support their implementation.
6. Serve as a strategic adviser between Assistant Directors / heads of service and HR and OD teams.

Experience Needed:

• Background in Local Authority / Public Sector.
• HR Management experience.
• Understanding of HR implications of organisational change.

Qualification Needed:

• CIPD qualification or equivalent.
