We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a large established organisation within the local area.

Due to an internal promotion, we are presenting an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Assistant to join the award-winning team based in Peterborough.

About the opportunity:

This is a very different role, (which will be explained at interview) and will suit an existing HR Administrator who is looking to progress their HR career or someone looking to transition into HR from a similar type of role.

As a Senior HR Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring HR compliance needs are met while delivering the full range of HR administration support, including:

  1. Preparing and issuing job offer packs and completing onboarding checks.
  2. Preparing and issuing letters confirming contractual changes.
  3. Managing the off-boarding process of leavers.
  4. Administering employee benefits such as life assurance.
  5. Working closely with the payroll team to ensure changes are communicated.
  6. Handling employee and line manager policy queries.
  7. Notetaking and support in HR case management meetings.
  8. Providing data analysis for monthly management reports.

Who we are looking for:

With proven experience in an HR Administrator role and a friendly, approachable style, you will have:

  1. Proven experience in an HR administrative or similar role.
  2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong relationships.
  3. Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  4. Proficiency in the use of IT.
