Job description

My client in Berkshire is looking to appoint a talented Senior HR Advisor on a Contract basis.

The successful candidate will have experience in Local Authority/Housing Association backgrounds and understand the nuances of working in an operational field with a blue-collar workforce and trade unions.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: 350 per day, inside IR35
  • Negotiable based on experience

  • Monday to Friday

About the role:

Based in Berkshire (Hybrid):

  • Support managers and supervisors with all people-related issues, including grievances, disputes, restructures, redundancy, disciplinary hearings.
  • Provide advice on employment policy and practice concerning organisational change, performance, and ill health management (including TUPE).
  • Act as an adviser to management on employment law and policy during disciplinary hearings and/or investigations.

About you:

You will have the following experiences:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • CIPD qualified (Level 7 Diploma in HR Management or equivalent), or have significant work experience demonstrating a similar level of attainment.
  • Knowledge of Employment Law and experience working for a local authority
  • Local Authority experience is essential
